MOSCOW, December 1st, 2009 - Russia's Vimpelcom recently deployed Invigo's SMS Welcome Roaming platform, enabling it to automatically send greetings SMSs to inbound and outbound roamers as soon as they register in the visited network.

The greeting SMS contains valuable information for the visiting subscribers such as promotional messages and segmented offers based on visited regions. Welcome information is sent in the language of the roaming mobile subscriber.

"This project was very successful, largely because of Invigo's efficient participation and devotion. We all believe here that Invigo have chosen the right customer relationship approach, and it pays off." said Mr. Sergey Sedykh, Senior Project Manager, Vimpelcom

Mr. Fouad Goraieb, Invigo's CEO, declared "SMS Welcome is the Roamers' first encounter with the visited network and hence is an efficient means to keep roamers connected while delivering useful information. Invigo's SMS Welcome service delivers instantaneous SMS greetings to visiting subscribers". He added "We are very proud that our product has been selected by Vimpelcom, Russia's leading mobile provider, and we believe that this will lead to a long-term relationship, due to Invigo's commitment to excellence."

Invigo's SMS Welcome service is due to cover all CIS countries in a future expansion plan.
